Over the last few years, we’ve done a lot of training for the Education Psychology service in Northern Ireland – training approximately 160 people from the service and from schools.
The staff have developed lots of excellent ways to use Appreciative Inquiry tools, and the first group went on to take module 2, personally delivering training sessions locally, as well as in Queen’s University Belfast. It’s immensely impressive to see. Some have also contributed articles to the Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner, which you can find here, with the introduction:

Dr Carol Strahan has since set up an independent psychology practice, Cavehill Psychology, based in Belfast, specialising in Occupational and Applied Educational Psychology. The practice is dedicated to enhancing staff wellbeing and growing potential, drawing on extensive research and expertise in this area.
