Appreciating People in the press

The AP team celebrate the business’ fifth birthday and launch of CIC Appreciation Works with a strawberry tea…

Appreciating People has seen a busy August on the press front too, with coverage of the business’ fifth birthday, and launch of our community interest company, Appreciation Works.

To celebrate our fifth birthday, Liverpool Vision – which is tasked with turning Liverpool into a first class city for business – ran an article about Appreciating People, which you can read here. Talking about the company’s growth over the last five years, AP director Tim Slack said: “Our plan is to increase turnover by 20 per cent per annum and to continue building a national reputation. Liverpool is a very business friendly city providing the right environment for the growth of CIC’s and private enterprises.”

The Daily Post’s  business section also ran a news piece on developments at AP, focusing on the launch of CIC Appreciation Works during a difficult time for third sector enterprises. You can read the Daily Post article online here. Talking about third sector businesses, Tim said: ‘During our five years in business, we have helped over 40 organisations. Sadly, we have recently seen many third sector organisations struggling to survive and individuals are trying to work out how to maintain their well being.’
