Appreciating People is delighted to announce a new partnership with Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool Citizens, to establish a range of Appreciative Inquiry and strength-based training opportunities for students at Hope in 2012. Courses will include an introduction to Appreciative Inquiry, strategic planning with a difference, engagement and large group facilitation and Appreciative Inquiry basics.
The first three programmes will receive CPD (Certificates in Professional Development), and the AI basics will be an accredited programme. We believe that these are the first AI university-accredited courses in UK, and there are plans to roll out other AI-based and strength based training opportunities.
AP will lead on the teaching of:
- Introduction to AI (CPD)
- AI – the basics (accredited)
- Strategic planning with a difference (CPD)
- Community engagement and large group facilitation (CPD)
Until March 31 AP’s courses are eligible for Leadership and Management funding of 50% of training costs – up to £1000 – which can include follow on mentoring.
